This year, we’re giving our new Business users the gift of knowledge. Upgrade to Business App during this festive period and you’ll get exclusive access to our Business Starter Pack, brought to you by our very own 3 wise men!

New feature: Page tabs

We are thrilled to release a highly anticipated feature: Page tabs. Now you can toggle content inside a page without needing to replicate screens. Page tabs can be used either as an extra navigational hierarchy that complements the main bottom menu or you can also use it to navigate content with buttons inside a page.

Changes on the number of published apps

Until now, we haven't been clear about the limits for importing files from Figma, and this is party due to the complexity of the import process. To try and clarify this, as well as to ensure our platform can scale, we have done analysis of how our platform is used and created some per-plan screen limits based on this research.
It is hard to find limits that work for everyone, but this approach allows us to increase the limit for apps with large number of screens which has been a frequently requested feature.

Anonymous login for Firebase

We've introduced Anonymous Login as an authentication method for Firebase, which allows users to access your app without providing personal information such as an email address, username or password. Furthermore, you can restrict access to certain pages depending on whether the user is anonymous or not, so you can provide a great UX for the users that enter your app for the first time.

7 July 2022

Swipe pages

We have launched today’s most popular scrolling effect for your app! Swipe pages is a new Bravo tag that changes the usual page scroll to vertically or horizontally snapping one full screen at a time - also known as the TikTok scroll effect. Switch up the way you display your content feed to your users! 🤩

  • Show a form to complete the user’s profile after signing up
  • Show a page to ask for notification permissions
  • Show a one-time welcome screen

13 April 2022

We have made it easier for you to share your apps! Instead of sharing your app by individual emails, now you can do it with a deep link that allows anyone to open your app directly in Bravo Vision. 15 January 2022

Form Checkboxes

Checkboxes will allow your app users to set options as true or false depending on whether the user checked the component or not. This new component works just as the Like button but instead of triggering a remote action on pressing, it binds its value to the form submission. The fun part is that you can design the component as you want. 🤯

Like & Favourite buttons

Engage your users with your app by giving them the ability to like or favourite specific content! You can design your own UI components with default & active states. When the user taps the component, the state changes, and a remote action is triggered. Unlock the potential!

Android publication improvements

We have improved the Android app publication process, adding the option to create your own Keystore file directly on Bravo Studio! 🎉 Now you won't have to install Android Studio nor use the terminal on macOS in order to own the Keystore file in case in the future you want to develop the same app independently from Bravo.
